Beyonce Red by Loreal Infallible Star Collection Review

Hi Everyone,

Today I am doing a review on Loreal Infallible's Star Collection Beyonce Red 16 - Hour Lip Colour. I have had this for a while now and absolutely love it. So thought I would share it with you.

This lipstick promises to be long wearing, transfer proof and moisturising all at the same time! It comes as the red stain and a conditioning top coat which contains marine collagen and vitamin E to seal in the colour and prevent moisture loss.

The red stain is so pigmented. The red is super bright and when combined with the conditioning top coat it shines in the light!

To apply I firstly lined my lips with Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner :)     and then applied the red stain to my lips. I waited 2 minutes with my mouth open for it to dry.

Once dry it looked like this! I quite like this matt red look but it doesn't feel moisturised when just wearing the stain.

I then applied the moisturising top coat and you can see the finished item.

Packaging: The packaging on this product is beautiful, creative and practical. By combining the two different products in the silver case it doubles up as a mirror that you can use when reapplying the moisturiser. I also like the fact that the two applicators pop out of the packaging and are then unscrewed from here.

Colour: The red colour is so pigmented. Its really bright and bold and suits most skin tones. I would really recommend this red!

Stay: This product stays for a really long time! I have never tried it for the full 16 hours but after around 6 - 8 hours it starts to fade in the middle of your lips and you need to top the stain up, but this is still long wear lipstick in my opinion. I found that throughout the night I needed to reapply the moisturising top coat numerous times to keep the shine and my lips feeling moisturised.

One thing that is a HUGE positive in my book is the non-transfer qualities of this lip stain. It means that you can eat, drink and kiss!! Whilst still keeping the same amazing colour. It doesn't move at all.

However, when it comes to trying to take this lipstick off be prepared to scrub your lips!!!

Overall: I absolutely love this lip stain. It stays for a long time, doesn't transfer and with the moisturising balm keeps your lips feeling silky smooth all night. The colour is beautiful!! I think you should definitely try this product for yourself. I can guarantee with these benefits you wont be disappointed!

Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel

I am in love with this new Avon Gel finish nail enamel. It came today with my delivery and I couldn't resist trying it straight away. The nail polish promises 5 benefits in 1. These include;

  • Gel-like shine: High gloss finish that strengthens nails by up to 42%.
  • No need for top or base coat: Top coat, base coat and intense colour in one bottle.
  • Intense Colour: Full coverage and rich colour in just one coat.
  • No UV Lamp: Gives a gel like finish without the need for UV lamps.
  • Salon Finish at Home: For that impeccable, just stepped out of the salon finish, without the price tag.

After one use of this nail polish I can see I am going to have a serious addiction on my hands. I used two coats, however, one thick coat would have sufficed. It feels beautiful on my nails and has a silky smooth touch. It has such shine and is just beautiful!

This new range comes in 24 different shades and I have already selected at least 12 that I need in my life right now! There are bright colours, dark shades and pastel shades to choose from.

Colour: The nail polish promises intense colour and that is exactly what you get. This blue comes out the same as in the bottle only with high shine! What more could you ask for!

Texture: I thought that this nail polish might be gloopy and thick. But it didn't feel this way at all when applying and the finished feel is smooth.

Price: As this is an Avon product it is pretty inexpensive and will retail at £3.50 initially a bargain for such a quality finish!

Overall: I am so impressed with this nail polish. I will be buying lots more over the next few months and experimenting with their colour range. I love the way this nail polish looks and feels!

Avon Nailwear Opal Top Coat

I wasn't going to do any reviews this weekend, but I did my nails and couldn't resist telling you about Avon Nailwear Opal Top Coat. I have used this nail polish on top of colour before and it has looked very good. However, today I tried it on its own as its sunny and I fancied some glitter / shimmer feel to my nails to reflect in the light. This nail polish is perfect for that.

It includes flecks of blue, purple, white and yellow sparkles (which you can see in the picture above). It is beautiful as a top coat, but I actually prefer this on its own. I think it adds something special to otherwise plain nails!

If you are looking for a fashionable finish to your manicure or an opalescent finish then this is the polish for you!

Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Gloss

I decided to buy some Avon Lip glosses over Christmas and hadn't tried them out until today! So here is my review! I brought the Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Gloss in Raspberry (a rich pinky red) and Pale Peach (a shimmery pale peach).

Pale Peach
Raspberry

These colours include Avon's true colour technology which promises that the colour you see is the same as the colour once it has been applied. I love this idea especially with the red raspberry colour.

I did swatches of both colours on the back of my hand to show the colour pay off and as you can see this is very good. The Raspberry colour is vibrant and the pale peach colour shimmers in the light :)

These are the lip glosses on my lips! As you can see the Raspberry is a richer colour than the pale peach and gives off a higher glossier shine. The pale peach colour is shimmery but not gritty as I often find with shimmery lip glosses.

Colour: I can truly see the effects of the True Colour Technology. I think the colour pay off is brilliant. I don't think my camera gives the lip glosses the credit they deserve. They have numerous other shades too and I will certainly be purchasing some others.

Value: The lip glosses are relatively cheap and can often be found as part of an offer. For the colour pay off I think these are well worth the price.

Texture: Sometimes lip glosses can be greasy feeling but these aren't at all. They feel very moisturising on my lips. As mentioned above the shimmery shade doesn't feel gritty as it often does when glosses have added shimmer.

Overall: I think these Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip glosses are great value for money and have brilliant colour pay off, thanks to their True Colour Technology. They feel lovely and moisturising on my lips!

I think will be using these a lot throughout the summer months :)

Avon Moroccan Argan Oil

I am serious when I say that everybody should own this little miracle bottle!

Avon Advanced Techniques 360 Nourishment
Moroccan Argan Oil
Leave in Treatment

I had  been using the shine serum by Avon and was a huge fan of it, so I thought I would try this Moroccan Argan oil by Avon too, as I have watched numerous YouTube videos and read a lot of reviews online about the benefits of Argan Oil. These include; calming frizzy ends, adding moisture
& Shine.

I bleached my hair not that long ago and have had trouble trying to keep moisture in my hair. This is the perfect remedy for this. One pump of this oil through my hair when wet is enough to keep my hair silky, soft and shiny all day long. It has never made my hair feel greasy like some other oils I have tried and I will definitely be purchasing it again when this one runs out!

I now use this every day without fail and have noticed a remarkable difference in my hair. Here are some pictures of my hair after a full day in the office, as you can see my hair is still super shiny.

I absolutely love this hair oil and I urge you all to buy it and see the benefits for yourself!

Avon Colour Attract Magnetic Nail Polish

As an Avon representative I saw these new nail polishes and immediately wanted to try them out. They all have shimmer in them and there are 4 different wand designs to use to create patterns. I brought the polish in Fuchsia Force and the Star and Diagonal stripped designs.

This is the first time I have had the opportunity to try out this nail polish. I did each nail one by one with the wands and loved the final effect. I used the diagonal stripe wand on all fingers apart from my ring finger, where I used the star one. I think the star one didn't work very well, but will have to try again another day!

I love the final effect!

Value: I would say that these nail polishes are excellent value for money and help you to achieve an interesting look.

Colour: I absolutely love this colour and I wasn't sure I would like colour once the magnetic wand had been applied but I like the contrast between light and dark.

Overall: I love this nail polish and think I will have to invest in some of the other wands to create other designs. It gives your nails a unique look. The only think I dislike is the texture of my nails after use, they are almost velvety, but this is nothing that cant be sorted out with a clear top coat. I would recommend these to anyone!

Boots Coconut & Almond Intensive Hair Mask

I was a bit skeptical about this hair mask to start off with. I read all of the rave reviews on Boots.com and decided to buy it and as it was only £1.99 I thought that there was nothing to loose. It states that the mask will "Smooth frizz, leaving hair soft, shiny, tangle-free and deeply moisturised."

First Impression:

My first impression of this mask was not a good one, I put a large amount of the product into my hair after shampooing and left it on for 5 minutes. I rinsed and found that my hair when wet was tangled and hard to get a brush through, when dry it was fine and felt soft and moisturised.

From further use:

After using this mask once a week for the past few months I am really feeling the benefits. My hair is smoother, soft and shiny and feels very healthy. The mask no longer makes my hair tangled and matted after the shower and I feel this may be due to a change in shampoo...

Overall:

I would highly recommend this mask, it smells gorgeous, makes your hair super smooth and tangle-free. My hair feels in really good condition after use and I would suggest to use this once or twice a week for a deeply nourishing treatment. It is a steal at £1.99 and I now understand why it was sold out when I first went to purchase it.
